HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} } FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} } (At Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence.) BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} } [STAMP] ORIGINAL [STAMP] SECRET 2 R2/M1.2.29. REC'D AT WW. 5.2.29. Copy to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} [Struck through] WOH. [Struck through] ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT ETC. X7741 X7560 LeC. 2652. - Accessory Distribution Board - is approved. Double wiring seems best for the bodywork but one thinks that the lampholders and lamps should be single central contact to be interchangeable with other lamps, and strictly the twin flex should have a red wire for the positive so that all the bodies of the fittings are negative the same as the frame. I fear we cannot regulate this but it might be suggested on the coachbuilders' instructions. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
