Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Paull.
Development Superintendent.

[STAMP: ANSON 1804]

We thank you for the sections of tyres to hand this morning. We wonder whether you have drawings of these tyres [strikethrough]mounted on[/strikethrough] their respective rims, of which we could have a copy for circulation.

There was one point which came up during our conversation on Wednesday last on which we are not quite certain, i.e. whether the tyres originally supplied for the Kings' car were 4-ply or 6-ply.

In addition, if Daimlers ever fitted 4-ply tyres as standard equipment, and are we right in assuming that nothing but 6-ply are in circulation now.

These points only arise owing to the difficulty we have experienced in eliminating high speed wobbles with the 7.3" 4-ply balloon tyres which we have in our possession.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Yours faithfully,
