Run from H Copy for Files. 24 EX Y8992. 2/5/30 Copied for F772. We have found the front shock absorbers short of oil so that one of them was not working at all. As we see no signs of leakage we can only assume they were never filled up. We have taken some comparative performance tests with 18EX & there is very little difference. 24EX slightly better due to smaller wheels. 18EX axle Dodd has examined. This device is 9000 miles & each time he added 3 syringes full of oil. there is signs of slight leakage when one looks for it. The radiator movement on 18EX would not be complained of although tyres are at 35 lbs. R.{Sir Henry Royce} has agreed to twin aero engine light carburetters for the cars. He has also taken kindly to modified radiator mounting. There is something wrong with our radiator if we fix the shutters full open & fix 18EX full open taking the same power 24EX is 10° hotter. | ||
