| - 2 - In conjunction with the Dunlop Straight Side Rim, which has a removable flange, it enables you to offer the most up-to-date equipment, as with detachable wheel embodying this type of Rim the Car Owner is entirely freed from any difficulties that are connected with the fitting and removing of tyres. We would again recommend this tyre to your serious consideration (if you have not yet determined the question) as the results of our tests and the experience of Users, at Home and abroad, fully demonstrates that this type of tyre is a great advance in tyre design. We are manufacturing Straight Side Tyres and Rims in all British Standard inch sizes, and a table giving particulars of sizes, with over-all dimensions when fully inflated, and recommended sizes which should displace given sizes of B.E. tyres, will be found on page 13. Magnum Beaded Edge Cord Tyres. Dunlop Magnum type Cord Beaded Edge Tyres are also now available, and can be supplied for all rims of British Standard sizes. The Magnum Cord B.E. Tyre is larger in sectional area than the Magnum (Canvas) tyre of same nominal dimensions, having a greater cushioning capacity, and although the initial cost is slightly greater we recommend it as it is more economical in service because of the higher mileage obtainable. In order to get the best results it is important that the tyres are run at proper pressure for load carried - see load and inflation table on page 10 of Booklet. Improved Magnum Beaded Edge Canvas Tyres. These tyres are of greatly improved type as compared with any previous construction. The results that have been obtained after one year's experience of them enable us to positively state that no other make of Canvas tyre can give such good results. British Standard Sizes. We desire to draw special attention to the range of British Standard sizes of Beaded Edge tyres - particularly for Light Cars, because the changes chiefly affect these sizes - and would ask you to give careful attention to same when considering the question of tyre equipment of your various models for Season 1922.
