COPY. 2 Oy4-G.23820. August 23, 1920. Mr.Claude Johnson, Managing Director, Rolls-Royce Ltd., London, England. Re: Primers. Dear Sir:- With reference to Mr.Royce's letter of 26/7/20 re Master Primer, we are sending to Derby for Mr.Hives to test, a sample Master Primer. Meanwhile, I have written one or two other makers and enclose herewith folders descriptive of the B.& L. Electric Gas Primer, which may be interesting to Mr. Royce. The makers have volunteered to send us a sample for test on memorandum invoice; that is to say, we need not pay for it if we return it in good condition. Therefore we will send this to Derby also for test if it looks a possible fitting. Very truly yours, ROLLS-ROYCE OF AMERICA, Inc. Per (Sgd) M.Olley.
