For the attention of Mr. Tett. Dear Sirs, Confirming our telephone conversation, the Benzol we require is as described in Article 5 of the Regulations for the 14th Grand Prix D'Endurance, to be held at Le Mans on the 13th June, and should conform to the following particulars which we have copied from the race regulations :- Benzol - Le benzol du commerce ne devra être additionné d'essence et devra répondre aux sp{Mr Spinney}écifications ci-après qui sont celles de l'Union française des producteurs de benzol: 1. Densité .................comprise entre 0.865 et 0.885 à 15°. 11. Couleur...................incolore à peine teintée.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 111. Eau.......................néant. IV. Fractionnement, début au-dessus de 65°. 60% au moins ... avant 100°. 85% au moins ... avant 140°. 95% au moins ... avant 170°. V.{VIENNA} Neutralitié ... neutre d'acide et d'alcalis. VI. (a) Soufre libre ... traces seulement de soufre libre, pas de H2S. (b) Soufre total ... 0,5% en poids au maximum. | ||
