Huckerby} Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your letter of the 16th instant, in reference to the 2 car heater couplings which were supplied against order 79860 and we are sorry to note that the bonding of the rubber to the metal parts is not at all suitable for your requirements. You will appreciate that these parts had to be made by hand, but we are trying out an alternative method of bonding the rubber and we shall endeavour to despatch them to you within the course of a day or so. Please rest assured that this will meet your very careful consideration. Yours faithfully, FOR THE COMPANY All Contracts and Orders are booked, and Quotations given, subject to our right to withdraw or cancel same (without liability on our part), by reason of the interruption of due delivery, short supplies, or abnormally affected prices of Raw Material, arising from Strikes, Fire, or through causes beyond our control.
