To Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} ORIGINAL Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}4/KT.9.2.31. PARK WARD BODY ON 25-EX. X4524 It will possibly be remembered that the above car is fitted with a pneumatic rear seat cushion. It has been generally agreed that the cushion is considerably less comfortable than the usual spring and horsehair type. At the present time we are carrying out some rather important suspension tests on this car the results of which are considerably negatived by the uncomfortable cushion. In view of the importance attached to the results of these tests we consider it advisable to have a good rear cushion. Would you therefore look into the question of getting Park Wards to supply us with another cushion; even if it is necessary to raise the height of the seat, we consider that it should be done.
