43517 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/KW. 15th February, 1935. Messrs. Lendrum & Hartman Ltd., Buick House, Albemarle Street, London, W.1. Dear Sirs, We are rather interested in the door stops on our Buick, Style No. 34058, Body No. 2833. We wish to try some of these door stops on our own bodies and shall be grateful if you can let us have a set of four. We are also very intrigued with the Buick jack, which is astonishingly light and efficient, and would be glad if you could let us have one of these at the same time. On receipt of your invoice we will forward you an official order. The Buick is going quite well, but in order to get slow running we seem to require a lot of tappet clearance, which makes the valve gear noisy. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
