x7430 S/W....Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wer. ------- C15/C18.10.34 Re 128-PY..Mons.Gustave Wyns. -------------------------- With reference to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/MJ12.10.34, I am interested to note GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}'s report on this car. It certainly appears that we are not able to meet his requirements in view of the speed at which he drives over these very bad roads. Before communicating with him, however, I should be glad if you would please let me know if you think the Minerva cars to which he refers would be so constructed that they could do what he wants. What I feel I would like to say is that he drives his car too fast over roads of this description and we doubt whether any other car could be driven at such speeds over those roads without as much discomfort. He evidently managed to cover a good deal of ground in spite of this, as he seems to have done 12,000 miles in three months, which is about 1,000 miles a week. C. | ||
