X7962 RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}15/KW.24.5.34. Car for E.R. Hall. Mr. Hall wants an 11/41 axle for his car. I am not sure whether any more are available other than that which is on the streamlined car, but will be glad if you would find out and if not, take the necessary steps to obtain a pair of gears. With regard to the power unit, it would be more economical if we could carry out our rehearsals on one of our existing Test Bed units, and only do a proof run on the final new unit. This means that we shall want a second set of Kelmit bearings and a second R engine camshaft. We will allot B.4 unit for this job. This already requires a new cylinder block and the camshaft wants changing. out of GLN-60 The set of Aerolite Pistons already received can be fitted and we can run the test with the high compression cast-iron head that we already have.
