X457 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG. Expl: Dept: 16th. Sept. 1925. Messrs. The Dunlop Rubber Co., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, Birmingham. Dear Sirs, Vehicle Equipment Section. For the attention of A.{Mr Adams} Lodge Esq., We enclose herewith drawings of Michelin wheel which we have been using. We should like to know whether the Dunlop wheel, when drilled to suit the hub, will give us the same distance between the point of contact of the tyre with the road and the pivot pin produced. In other words, is the dish-in the same? The other point is, shall we be able to fit the 7.25" tyres to the rims you will give us, on these wheels? Will you please let us know what the cost of supplying us with a pair of these wheels will be. With regard to the wheels of the Hispano type. We do not now think we shall require these. Yours faithfully, | ||
