With reference to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/MH{M. Huckerby}8.2.40, it is agreed that 25-G-VI, because of its very experimental nature, should be handed over to Aero Service Dept., and that they should release 28-G-VI to come to London to be disposed of.

The car which we are sending you in replacement is ready to leave London tomorrow. The idea was that the driver who brings it up should bring back the car it is replacing. Will you therefore please let me know - if possible by return - whether 28-G-VI is available for us, either because you can at once hand over 25-G-VI, or because Aero Service Dept. could use the car we are sending up in order to let us have 28-G-VI at once and then exchange with you as soon as 25-G-VI is ready, if it is in any way not yet available to hand over.

We will therefore await your reply before despatching the replacement car, so that the whole job may be done by the one driver.
