Further to your enquiry for particulars of aero plugs we have taken this matter up with the Works and in order that they can recommend the most suitable type of plug for your purpose they have requested us to obtain particulars of the engines on which these plugs are to be used, such as compression ratio, etc, which would enable them to recommend the most likely type of plug to meet your requirements. We take it you would not mind whether the plugs had stone or mica insulators so long as they served your purpose, and we should be pleased to hear also whether you insist upon plugs of detachable execution. It would help considerably if you would not mind telling us the make and type of plugs you have already used on these engines with satisfactory results, or the make and type of plug which has most nearly met your requirements, and in what respects these plugs do not quite meet the case, for example, whether the plugs do not meet the heat and compression requirements, or whether they are liable to sooting and oiling up.
