BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} C. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 20HP. PISTON. Y5040 ORIGINAL We have not yet seen the broken pieces of the 20HP. piston, but we send you herewith LeC. 2575. shewing this piston strengthened up in the same way that we strengthened up the Phantom, by increasing the angle between the diagonal webs, thickening the web on the spring side of the piston, bossing up the hole for the flap, and filling in the hollow space under the rings. This strengthening is intended for immediate use on our standard product. For India 3. you will require a piston .125" taller, for which we shall make a separate drawing.
