We agree to your proposals regarding making alterations to the present engine of this chassis, and should be glad if you could give us some idea of what the cost of this work would be so that we can fix a price for the resale of this car. Would you at the same time please say how long the work will take. We appreciate that the work will be carried out by the Repair Department. If the car is with you no doubt you will hand it over to them for that purpose. Before however putting the work in hand we should like to know the cost of this job plus the cost of any essential repairs to the chassis itself.
