seating (it is difficult to say as to the cause of this fracture, but I am inclined to suspect mechanical break while the plug was being assembled here or while it was being screwed into the engine). The plugs are being cleaned, reassembled and reset, and we shall probably be able to get them off to you tomorrow.

With regard to the other fourteen X399 plugs which you have, I shall await with considerable interest your report on the set that you are putting in one of your test cars, as well as on the set which you sent to one of your Bentley customers in London.
