London, S.W.9.

Dear Rothes,

I have found that I have to be in London on Business on Wednesday and am therefore coming to the Coachbuilders dinner after all. I apologise for refusing your invitation and then reversing my decision, but I did not expect to be able to come. I hope I may see you there.

I do not know whether the body for B-10-DG has got very far yet, but I shall be at Park Wards immediately after lunch on Wednesday. The chassis will not leave the Works until the end of next week.

I am seeing Hall on Wednesday morning so if you have not heard from him I shall be able to tell you what he says if we meet in the evening.

Yours sincerely,
