difference in results is due to difference in design of spark gaps, we would be pleased if they could furnish us with details of the gaps used by the Bosch people.

Another point considered by us, is in connection with the driving of magnetos. Hitherto we have used a leather belt transmission which has suited our requirements relatively; but in this case, to make sure that there is no "give" in the transmission, or that the armature is momentarily decelerated at the instant previous to flux reversals in the armature, we are changing to a positive chain drive, with a flywheel to carry it over that point, fixed to the motor shaft.

We think it best to await the arrival of the Ed{J. L. Edwards}-19 which we anticipate being sent, before making any further tests on Z.R.6 machines.
