8. Re Packard Clutch

We have made attempts to obtain a Packard plate clutch for the purpose of investigating its design and the materials used. Sales tried to do this through Mrs Sherman, but the Packard Co. would not supply it because such a clutch as we required would not suit Mrs Shermans chassis. It now remains for the Committee to decide whether it is worth while making further attempts to obtain this clutch.
