RE SPEEDOMETERS.

We have now received the first two of the A.T. Speedometers for production fitted with ratchet so that trip does not record when running in reverse. A much better job has been made of the gearing for driving the trip but they have not included the suggested modification to the thrust on the trip gear drive; this may come along in the next supply of instruments.

Nothing has been done at present with the method of locking the adjusting screw on middle spindle.

On our rig tests these instruments were O.K.
