Axle Ratio 12 x 50; Tyres 6" x 18".

The following test was carried out with the attendance of Mr. Trayner, Repair Dept.

Latest modified carburetter to LeC.4292.

The car was driven fast to Ticknall, Melbourne, Caulke, Ashby, Castle Donington, Shardlow, Allenton, Allestree and return to Works.

Maximum speed of 75 MPH. attained twice and Ticknall hill climbed at 65 secs.

Petrol consumption 14.5 m.p.g./ 39 M.P.H./ 45 miles.

Old type carb. 15.1 m.p.g./ 39 M.P.H./ 45 miles.

Both mileage and measures used, corrected.

The old type carburetter still shows weak at 10/20 M.P.H. for snap acceleration; although strengthened up to overcome this fault.
