Confirming an agreement to raise the front end of the Bensport steering column and asking for confirmation it does not interfere with the inlet pipe.

BENSPORT STEERING COLUMN.
x - 53.

R.{Sir Henry Royce} has agreed to raise the front end of the steering column .5" above that shewn on the arrangement - that is to say - from the level top of the frame to the centre of the rocker shaft is now 3" .50. The distance from the back of the dash remains the same. Would E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} please confirm that this does not interfere with the inlet pipe.
