The Earl of Rothes,
The India Tyre & Rubber Co.Ltd.,
Mileage Dept. (Area "B"),
80, Clapham Road,
LONDON, S.W.9.

Dear Rothes,

With regard to the two tyres which you have sent me to try with a view to offering them to Richard Summers, I have done a few hundred miles on these, and so far have no adverse comments to make except that they appear to be more noisy than the standard tyre.

I see no objection to these tyres being offered to Mr. Summers for trial, only naturally we would ask you not to say that we have approved these tyres on such a superficial test, but point out that we have merely given them a provisional run.

Yours sincerely,
