X3436 [crossed out] X3499 I am certain that this chassis would give better satisfaction in the colder weather if the radiator was fitted with louvres so as to keep the temperature higher under the bonnet. This is an urgent and serious matter and should have prompt attention. It is merely bringing it in line with the Goshawk. The present thermostat should be cancelled so that the thermometer would be reading the temperature of the whole of the cooling water. At the moment this chassis is considerably handicapped owing to the temperature of the air under the bonnet being too low for good distribution in cold weather, the engine running badly, and the consumption being high, unless the radiator has careful attention as regards blanking off, which I fear it never gets, as is the case with the car here.
