We are sending forward to you by passenger train from St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} Pancras to-morrow morning, twelve Aerolite Pistons in RR.53, interchangeable with your blue print E.84546, being a complete delivery against your order No. 67527. Also in this consignment will be six Aerolite Pistons in RR.53 for the Bentley. We should like to call your attention to the method of putting in the heat break slot, the drilling of the scraper ring oil drain holes, and the machining of the flutes. All these pistons have the "I" dimension within the drawing limits of 3.247", and in the case of the Bentley pistons, these would represent the production piston in the form determined by your tests as being the most satisfactory. The pistons for the experimental determination of the correct "I" dimension after anodising are now in sight and will be following in the course of a few days.
