To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} [Struck through] Copy to Ba. Ha/Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} [REDACTED] Handwritten: KLDt Handwritten: 6 2 6 E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}6/MN.9.6.36. Wraith II Road Wheels and Tyres. Further to our E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/MN.19.5.36 , and your BY/Cgh.{W Clough}3/G.20.5.36. and our N.Sch.4809, we have now received definite proposals for the two alternative wheels for Wraith II. We send herewith the Dunlop print number C.D.S.734 in which it will be seen that both for the 4" and the 5" rims the track need not be moved up because the Dunlop Co. agrees to the use of Bentley type spoking on the 4" rim, and Phantom III type spoking on the 5" rim. We suggest that wheels be obtained so that we may test the Wraith with both of these types of rim. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Att: | ||
