ENGINE COUPLING PHANTOM 1 & 11.

We suggest that the following information should be circulated as a Depot Sheet.

"Further to Depot Sheets 178 and 180, we have now established that the latest rivetted couplings are a very great improvement on the screwed type. The cost of the coupling is not great, the cost of dismantling the gearbox to fit the coupling is very considerable, however. We therefore recommend that where a gearbox is removed from the car for any purpose, advantage should be taken of the fact to fit one of the latest type rivetted fabric couplings."
