Trouble with K.S. petrol gauges in India and the proposed change to a triple air line.

PETROL GAUGE. +9538 Owing to trouble with KS.162 in India, we supplied a triple air line for experimental car 17-EX. We want, if possible, to use the triple air line on gauges of 162 type, the only point being to decide exactly what form the tank unit should take. We send you herewith the unit with which Messrs. Hobson have supplied us. We should like you to take the matter up with them and decide exactly what you want them to supply. Until they know exactly what you want, we presume that you will still use the double air line gauges, but as we are very likely to have trouble with these if they go into any hot climate, we think the change to the triple line should be made as soon as possible.
