87960 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Vibrator Control - 58-GN. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}16/E27.3.33 Copy to Crawford. Referring to Sgl/E13.3.33 and Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/MA.17.3.33 the vibrator control on this car certainly seems quite useless as at present fitted up. I will arrange to send the car to Derby on Wednesday. As I shall probably not be keeping this car very much longer, I doubt the advisability of fitting the new improved dynamo, i.e. suggest that the regulator is correctly adjusted so as to give higher charge when necessary. I should be glad if you would also have the valves and tappets looked over from the point of view mentioned in my former memo. I will send Kennett up with the car so that he can tell you exactly what happens. Please let me know when the car can be returned. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
