High Power Development Work on Test Beds.

Attached is a copy of a report on the test bed work carried out this year in connection with the Ulster Tourist Trophy Race.

It will be observed that the volume of work necessary was considerable, but a great deal of useful information was obtained during these tests which has been or will be in the future of value in improving our standard product. In particular, we have been able to improve the cooling of the 20/25 HP. exhaust valve, and we expect to get better idling and low speed pick-up on the Bentley without reducing the top power output.

It will be clear from this report why we do not expect to be able to get any further increase in power out of the existing design of Bentley unit.
