RE ACCESSORIES FOR 31.G.7.
Silver Phantom

You will nodoubt have heard that the body now being built will be mounted on a Silver Phantom Left Hand Chassis. Messrs Park Ward are asking about the following body accessories:-

Handwritten note next to Wing Lamps:
mr. Ward to buy there (Hord Inc) can't get them from Lucas.

Wing Lamps.
We instructed the new design for B.5. Can we get a pair of these either from Messrs Lucas or from the first production batch allocated to Show and Trials Cars?

Handwritten note next to Heaters:
There is in Central Stores. Leslie has two, one for the Laboratory - several DCB12 o/s AC Heaters at Shortlands.

Heaters.
This car was instructed for two R-R Heaters. At the moment only the heater for the rear compartment is essential and this could be a Clayton which Park Ward can purchase. We feel however that we should get as many of the R-R heaters running as is possible and suggest that you may be able to get one allocated to a Trials car.

Handwritten note next to Screen Wiper:
Can't get new wiper from Lucas, scheme dropped entirely due to war.

Screen Wiper.
On this car we had instructed that the first model of the Lucas Wiper cum Defroster Duct should be fitted. Is there not any hope of getting this now? If not we shall have to use a standar wiper with the separate ducts which are not too clever.

There are other accessories which will be required when the body is mounted but in view of the distance off of the chassis we feel that we can wait for these.
