Re Special Petrol Tank Filler on chassis 1752 (Findthorpe)

The Committee were informed that this job was finished and despatched.

Mr Platford was of the opinion that the job was far too heavy and cumbrous.

It has been necessary to fit a solid drawn copper tube in the place of a flexible tube, owing to the leakage troubles, and he suggested that the job was not good enough to repeat.

The Committee agreed that Mr Spinney should be instructed to get out a design having a solid copper tube, but of lighter gauge, and having lighter fittings, as a standard job, to be supplied when required.
