Dear Mr. Robotham,

We have received a request from our friends in America asking for information regarding the time when your Company first used the oscillating ball bearing assembly which is placed just below the steering wheel in your steering gear construction, and if possible to procure a dated blue print shewing the earliest date at which it was drawn for production.

I understand that this is required in connection with some Patent negotiations which are going forward in Detroit, and I am wondering if you could possibly see your way to supplying the information asked for.

Perhaps you will be good enough to let me know as to whether you would be prepared to send this information.

May I take this opportunity of wishing you the Compliments of the Season.

Yours sincerely,
F.Matravers
