Referring to E.1/M.21.12.29 it would appear that the experience of E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} and those at W.W. is certainly on all-fours with our own and our customers.

There are two directions in this memo which stand out as being likely to be worth our while to consider further, that is the Lucas system of having a full charge and half-charge switch, which has been referred to two or three times in recent correspondence, and which he suggests could be adopted to suit our special conditions; and also the vibrator control.

I remember mentioning to the Experimental Department an aircraft type of generator fitted with such a control, some years ago, and the experience then gained by testing this machine might be useful to us now in the consideration of the present problem.

I should like to know what EFC. thinks of this last point.
