For the Attention of Mr. H.E. West.

Dear Mr. West,

Many thanks for your letter of the 29th instant. We will hold up work on the Rolls-Royce Speedometer instrument until we hear from you on the Bentley jobs.

With regard to the Sinterkorund Plug position, we are busily working on some alternative designs in the matter of electrode shapes etc., and the development seems very promising. As soon as we are sufficiently far forward and I think any useful purpose would be served, I will try and let you have a set of plugs for test. Would you agree to test these further samples on single cylinder units (in which case I will send you two or three plugs); or do you want these further tests to take place on a multi-cylinder engine, and if so, what is the minimum number of plugs you would require?

Yours faithfully,

N.F. STOCKBRIDGE,
Managing Director.
