Re: BENSAPORT J.I. CHASSIS - SPECIFICATION. ------------------------------------- We are handing you herewith the specification for the Bensaport J.I. chassis compiled from the latest information available. Any outstanding work for which we have designs should be put in hand, and experimental instructions issued as soon as possible. For the Drawing Office Sections we are attaching a copy of memo KYO/25.11.32 which deals with the first car. This car is being dealt with by the Experimental Dept. in conjunction with Mr Elliott's Dept. The engine and gearbox unit will be the J.I. engine with integral synchromesh 20/25 gearbox. The Drawing Office should denote their attention first to those sections which are common to this experimental chassis, and the final chassis as outlined in the following specification. It will be noted that we are still referring to this work as Bensaport J.I. although several memos and M.schemes for this chassis have come through under the title "B.3". If this latter title is to be adopted we will advise you further. HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}/ES. | ||
