To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}

HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}3/KW.26.1.34.

We have received the attached letter from Messrs. Sanderson & Holmes, from which it will be seen that they wish to dispose of 12-EX body, which has been garaged at their Works free of charge for the last four years.

This body was removed from 12-EX chassis in 1929 and was replaced by a light lorry body in order to provide a fairly fast vehicle to transport Schneider Trophy engines to and from Calshot. Since then the lorry has been used by the Transport Dept.

We have no further use for the original body, as it is obsolete and in a bad state of repair, and would be pleased to have your agreement to it being scrapped.

HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/F.Dodd.
