Dear Sirs,
For the attention of Dr. F.D. Smith.

On the 9th. inst. we forwarded to you the special clutch disc which we prepared for your Phantom 3 model. We trust that same arrived safely, and look forward to receiving your report when you have had it on test.

When the writer was at your Works you asked him to let you have technical details concerning this plate and we accordingly have pleasure in setting them out below:-

Moment of Inertia = 122 lbs/ins.
Gap = .030".
Free camber of plate springs = .045"
Total load to compress plate flat = 1494 lbs.

We shall be most interested to receive your comments and to know when you would wish the writer to call upon you with a view to discussing the matter further.
