COPY. X5250 To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} From Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} re. Overheating. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/21.10.30. X. 7250. X. 5250. X. 756. Referring to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/MJ.18.10.30. and former correspondence as the modification of indenting the tube seems to be a very simple one and the results extraordinarily good, I was wondering whether this was not a case where we could agree without risk to the modification being embodied in production at the very earliest possible moment without waiting for standardisation for completion. I am assuming that the indentations can easily be added to existing stocks of tubes. I should like to have your advice and recommendation on this subject. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
