CG/G.20.11.28.

We have had two or three cases lately of brakes sticking on, on the 20 h.p. and are informed that this is due to the driver using the Knot Intensifier for lubricating, and the pressure of oil causing a rod to bend which prevents the brakes coming off.

We understand that this is a known fault and all Depots have been notified.

Will you please let us know whether the Works consider this is of sufficient importance for a special note to be sent round to all owners drawing their attention to the fact that the Intensifier should not be used when lubricating the brakes.

We understand this also applies to the 'Phantom."
