Dear Ward,

You will have received Mr. Hewitt's letter of the 30th April, which I asked him to send to you in my absence.

The position is that Mr. Hewitt has found some rexine and leather which is a great deal better than that fitted to Lappin's car, and that we are anxious to get hold of samples for trimming subsequent Experimental cars.
