Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} To BF from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} re Fabric Coupling Failures and the Quarterly Complaints. I note it says in the Minutes of the meeting held last week that the Experimental Dept. and the Repair Dept. should collaborate on this subject and evolve an improved coupling which should have longer life. I am wondering whether you are familiar with the "Harmetic" Coupling Disc manufactured by the Universal Ball Bearing Repair and Manufacturing Co., of 11, The Grove, Hammersmith, and which according to the particulars given in their catalogue is fitted to a large number of cars as standard. If you are/ not familiar with it, perhaps there would be no harm in obtaining a sample one from these people for examination and test. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
