X3117. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Jacks. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/E17.11.31 Referring to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/M13.11.31 I expect you have all the necessary information but in case you have not I enclose copy of leaflet issued by the makers giving particulars of the Jackall Hydraulic Four wheel System, together with two blue prints issued by them showing a suggested method of fitting to a P.II chassis. For the reasons discussed recently when we were together at Welwyn, it looks as if we had got to tackle this proposition, especially from the point of view of the back wheels which are so difficult to get at with the modern type of body. When you have a set fitted up on to a car, I shall be very much interested to see it. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Encs. | ||
