ENGINE FOOT MOUNTED SHOCK DAMPER.
S.S. N.Sch.3031.

ENGINE FOOT AND DAMPER MOUNTED ON CRANKCASE. REAR FEET MOUNTED ON PEDESTALS, FRONT END CLAMPED ON BLOCKS UNDER FEET. LOAD APPLIED AT BALL PIN OF DAMPER. A PLATE (.250"S/M) WAS BOLTED TO THE TOP HALF CASING (IN PLACE OF THE BOTTOM HALF) TO WHICH THE EYE-ROD WAS SECURED.
