Re 20-G-IV.

A Warrington Corporation Bus No. 47, Registration No. ED.{J. L. Edwards}8704, damaged the Rear offside Wing of the above car. The circumstances were as follows:-

I was stationary in Warrington, waiting for the Traffic Officer's signal to proceed. The street is narrow, and the Corporation Bus Driver, assisted by his conductor, apparently thought there was sufficient room to get by.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Such however, was not the case, and his rear wing contacted with that of ours, with the result that the wing was badly crumpled. The bus did not stop, but I took particulars of his number, and reported the case to the constable almost immediately after. The time was 3.7 p.m. approximately.
