Thanks for your memo of yesterday. I do not think it would be possible for Clark to spend an unbroken week in Derby but he could manage a few days at a time. In making the sketches for the Wraith he did most of the work on Saturdays and Sundays, and would like to do so on this occasion.

It is just possible he will go up on the 8.25 on Saturday next, the 29th if you could let him work over the week-end. If this is not convenient for you he will go up on Monday and spend a few days there.

If you will let me know by to-morrow morning which is the more convenient for you it will be in time to stop him going up on Saturday of necessary
