Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ? C to D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}} Herewith a Copy of a note we have received from Sr. Our tools stores & the repaired Corniche body will be stored in this Garage. To "Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}" Derby 1245 Levallois Sr4/MLG.29.12.39 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Re- Chateauroux Garage -------- rent The Chateauroux Garage has now finally been settled as also the coachbuilders repair estimates. With regard to the Garage, we have finally come to an agreement to pay one third of the present rent, i.e. Fcs.6.500 (viz Fcs.2.166,60 per year) . This is quite a remarkable achievement as after all we are a foreign Company operating in France. We have given the proprietor permission to park some cars in the Garage in the available space . Obviously after the hostilities the rent will come back to Fcs.6.500 per annum. As regards the coachbuilders, their estimates have been approved by Parsons for the Insurance Company and the matter will shortly be settled. I trust you will find this more than satisfactory.
