Copy X5530 to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Patch Instrument Boards, sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/E14.4.31. Y7530 85530. Copy to Bv. Phantom. There is a Standardisation Sheet dated 5.2.31, no.7530/5530, which has come before me for completion, in regard to fitting plain glass with reflectors stuck on to prevent complaints of cracked glasses. The point I cannot quite understand is that on the back it says: "For Repairs only". Would you please let me know what action is being or has been taken to introduce this modification on production? The extra cost is given as 12/2 per car for repairs only, but surely on production plain glass would actually be cheaper than that with the holes drilled. sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
