X1114 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.12./KW. 20th December, 1935. Messrs. Clayton Dewandre Ltd., Titanic Works, Lincoln. For the attention of Mr. Willet. Dear Sirs, Referring to our letter Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.18/KW.22.11.35, we are still awaiting one of the experimental oil coolers (which is being made for us by Messrs. Gallay Ltd.) so are not yet able to forward the three coolers for test. We are, however, forwarding one of the coolers for you to strip, and to which you will fit your experimental wire wound matrix. By the time this is completed we should be in a position to send you the other two oil coolers for test. As regards the Bentley water radiator cores, we are in a similar position: we are still waiting for Messrs. Gallay to complete their block. As soon as this is done we will forward them. We thank you for your letter of the 2nd inst., and will arrange a date with Mr. Day when he is available. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
